Preparation includes scraping, sanding and small repairs within the described scope. It is not a general rebuilding of the plaster. Identify the rooms and photograph any extensive defects: major detachment or water ingress needs different assessment from refreshing colour. Also note doors, floors and furniture that need retaining during the work.
